In 1974, three basic tests were performed on rabbits and lab mice to determine the toxicity, if any, of BLUE GOLD through inhalation, ingestion and prolonged dermal exposure. The results: toxicity levels were too low to measure by conventional tests, even with severely exaggerated dosages and conditions. The conclusion: no special handling procedures or sophisticated ventilation systems are necessary when BLUE GOLD is used in cleaning and degreasing equipment.

Q. Is Blue Gold safe for all metals?

A.  In most industries, chemical must be purchased for ferrous metals and another chemical for non-ferrous metals. With Blue Gold, there is no requirement for different cleaning chemicals for different metals. Blue Gold is safe with ALL metals, ferrous and non-ferrous. Additionally in industry, there is normally a different chemical product for dip tanks, spray washers, ultrasonic systems, pressure sprayers, steam sprayers and hand wiping. Blue Gold can eliminate the need for many various cleaning chemicals. Blue Gold works in all methods and applications. To the best of our knowledge, there is no other product on the market as versatile as Blue Gold.

Q. Can we use Blue Gold without purchasing expensive new equipment?

A.  In almost every case, there is no need to replace your existing line of equipment before using our Blue Gold.  Simply by agitating your cleaning tanks and adding heat, you can turn your system into the finest cleaning equipment in your industry. We would be happy to discuss the varous options in which your company has, in simply retro-fitting your cleaning line. Superior cleaning, no sludge in the bottom of your tank, to be treated or trucked away and solution that will last many times the life cycle of your existing hazardous cleaning chemicals.

Q. How do we recylce Blue Gold and use proper oil filtering?

A. When the solution simply ceases to clean effectively, then it is time to replenish the solution simply by adding Blue Gold concentrate to the solution and restoring the pH of the solution. There is no need to dump the solution each week or month as most factories are doing and having to pay to haul the hazardous waste away. The whole key to our Blue Gold excellent cleaning properties is to simply keep the oil off the solution, not overheating the tank solution and ocassionally keep the metal fines out of the bottom of your tank. Blue Gold separates itself from the oil and metal fines with its unique chemical properties. Oil is kept of the solution with such methods as a simple oil wheel, oil filter, oil wiper, and or oil skimming pads, which are also recyclable. Q. How do we dispose of Blue Gold when we change the spent solution?

A.  Actually speaking, we have various client factories in which their cleaning tanks have never been disposed of, as they simply keep the oil off the Blue Gold solution and ocassionally removing the metal fines out ot the bottom of the tank. With no oil in the solution and no metal fines, you don't have hazardous waste, but simply Blue Gold solution which can be restored to its proper pH by adding Blue Gold concentrate. Now you have eliminated your hazardous waste costs, in compliance with local authorities and providing a safer working environment for your employees and utmost cleaning efficiency. Blue Gold has an internationally recognized Cleaning Efficiency Factor (CEF) of 100%, per the Metal Finishing Industry.
